A directory of sound engineers in the UK listed by County The success of your gig can hang on the work of your sound engineer. A good sound engineeer must know their equipment back to front. And they must be able to tune into your particular sound pretty quickly. This includes tones and effects on particular instruments and voices, and also the mix. A good sound engineer will be able to give you the mix you want, not what he or she thinks sounds best. It’s a real advantage if the sound engineer appreciates a broad range of music. Flexibility is a key. They should carry a load of spare DIs, mics, leads and other stuff in case you accidentally leave anything behind. Your engineer should know one end of a soldering iron from the other, and be able to make quick repairs if things go wrong. If you find your sound engineer in our directory don`t forget to tell them you found them on Gig Guide Ltd! Listings are complimentary for one year and are reviewed by Gig Guide Ltd.
