Chantel has stepped out in the pro-musician world and her stunning live performances are proving that this is rock blues for the new age, played by a musician born with an effortless virtuosity, peppered by flights of incendiary guitar and flanked by moments of poise, grace and fluidity........... If you measure an artists prospects by the company they keep, then this Miss is clearly heading in the right direction, having been invited to perform on stage by Joe Bonamassa, the American blues supremo, on two of his tours so far! Chantels debut album, Like No Other, is a beautifully crafted compilation, that showcases her versatility and genuine talent, as a singer-songwriter! Also being part of the centenary album 100 Years of the Blues, in the company of the all time greats, like Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac and many more titans of rock blues, is testament to her highly regarded reputation in the music world! It came as no surprise therefore, when Chantel was voted Young Artist of the Year, in the British Blues Awards 2011. ExistImmortal: Exist Immortal are a young and talented technical metal band hailing from West London and Brighton. Despite the band's conception in 2008, a performing line-up was not established until late 2010 when Stefan joined up with fellow students Kurt and David. Drafting in an old bandmate on drums in the shape of Raj, and the instrumental foundation was laid. After the recording of their début EP 'Insects', the band joined up with full-time vocalist and old friend Monty and his bandmate Meyrick. Exist Immortal fuse catchy melodies, soaring epic vocals, technical riffing and all out grooves to create a unique maelstrom of musicianship. The line-up is complete, now it's time to leave our mark. www.existimmortal.com www.existimmortal.bigcartel.com www.existimmortal.bandcamp.com TYRANT: Tyrant are a leeds based tech/melo-thrash metal band. Formed in October 2010, by students and graduates of Leeds university, they started gigging in February 2011 as a four-piece instrumental band, to fantastic receptions and great radio reviews. Now a fully-formed, fully-functional five piece, Tyrant have played alongside such bands as XERATH, VIRUS, DETONATION, GORE, FURY, GRIEVE, VIER and DREAMCATCHER , and have exploded across the Leeds rock and metal scene, building up a solid fan base and a sonic onslaught that is a blend of blistering riff-work, soaring harmonies, thunderous beats and intricate melodies, as well as a good solid helping of old-school thrash, and, erm...a singer who is 5ft2. Yeah. Tyrant come ready to tear it up while having some fun, and bring the metal without too much of the cheese (but maybe a little cheese :D ) . "Tyrant take the best of old-school thrash and modern metal combined...large, spiralling riffs...really impressive" (review on LSR) ""TYRANT are making serious noise. They have built a strong reputation for their unrelenting live shows. To put it mildly, Tyrant guarantee serious verve at every outing. Good form." (review by Live&Loud) Please contact us about any gigs - we've been known to perform gigs with under 3 hours notice. We just have that much spare time on our hands when we normally sit in a corner staring at the wall. www.facebook.com/tyrant.uk http://puretyrant.bandcamp.com/ Filial Cannibalism: "Filial Cannibalism is a four-piece Brutal Death Metal band from Wigan, England whose stlye combines elements of old school Suffocation/Cannibal Corpse style Death Metal with elements similar to brutal bands like Devourment and Putrid Pile. The band utilizes a lot of sick grooves and is sure to be a hit with all Death Metalheads. The band is currently unsigned, but should gain some serious attention if the keep up their pace. The guitars in Filial Cannibalism seem very equally influenced by both old school Death Metal and newer Brutal Death Metal, making for very crushing riffs. They use guitar solos from time to time, adding a level of uniqueness to a genre that rarely produces substantial guitar solos. When used in combination with brutal drum beats, the grooves in Filial Cannibalism are some of the best you will hear. The vocals are very similar to Devourment and fit the riffs and beats perfectly. FIlial Cannibalism is a band that you can tell would be sick to see live. Not only do they have the old school Death Metal intensity, but also the more modern brutality and grooves to match. The way they organize their songs illustrates that these guys know what they are doing and are serious Death Metal muscians. Overall, FIlial Cannibalism is a great band with a lot of potential. There isn't anything you can point to and say "I wish that was heavier" in this band. They have made sure everything they write is as intense as possible. Anyone who loves Brutal Death Metal must check out Filial Cannibalism."
