| Art Of Rebellion |
Genre: Rock Indie Acoustic Operatic Music |
In January 2007, four guys met up for a simple jam, not knowing that from that first meeting it would forge a band and a friendship of like minded individuals wanting more, who feel that they have unfinished business within music and have something to prove. It has resulted in creating music that means something to them.
Currently unsigned and from South Essex. With their own material the band is going to be pushing to make a name for themselves on the circuit.
They have been working hard on material and striving for success but mainly recorgnition for their efforts of making music that is not just one hit wonders but that has something deep and thought behind it. With so many influences ranging from so many styles the music is becoming varied and widespread but still gripping. Originally starting off with vocals from Nathan the band has now decided to move along the route of more instrumental tunes so that the normal verse chorus verse chorus style of writing music can be more challenging for themselves.
This has resulted in the most current songs Destroy Something Beautiful & Epic (part 1) both retain elements of a rock background but infusing haunting elements of Piano.
More songs will be on the way which will include The Forest the second part of Epic and others in progress. |

| Diplomacy |
Genre: Soul/Jazz/Rhythm and Blues Music |
London based Diplomacy’s eclectic mix of original jazz, soul and blues, with elements of funk, afro-jazz, afro-cuban, rhythm’n’blues and rock’n’roll thrown in, defies categorisation. Bob, Deborah, Jules, Mike and Simon met in 2004 while studying for the Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music at Goldsmiths College run by Roger Cawkwell.
Despite (or perhaps because of) their wide and diverse musical backgrounds, they enjoyed making music together so much that they were compelled to form the band. The like-minded rhythm section of Viktor and Mick were recruited to complete the picture. It is the wide diversity of backgrounds and musical tastes (from George Jones to John Coltrane), combined with excellent musicianship, that makes Diplomacy so special. With composing and arranging duties shared across the original five members, the only rule is ‘if we enjoy playing it, the audience will enjoy listening to it.’ |
