Very experienced WEDDING BAND playing well known lively songs from last century into this millennium!
Our job is to keep the guests dancing and we rarely fail. We play 100% live music (no backing tapes/cds or pre-recorded keyboards) and the songs run fluently into one another, often with 20 minutes without stopping (prevents those men who don`t like dancing who wait for the end of a song to make their excuses from sitting down!)
With a song list of over 100 and growing, you can have dances from quicksteps to heavy rock, or from a waltz to pop.
We always discuss with the Bride and Groom long before their wedding, the type of music they want. Then tailor the night to suit!
Our stage wear is either formal dinner suits with bow ties, or the `party` look with Hawaiian shirts - your choice.
Based in Devon, but will travel further as required.
We also provide music during any intervals, which can be our own cds or you can provide your own compilations to play.

We are a 4 Piece Professional Function Band, specialising in entertaining for Parties, Weddings & Corporate Functions.
We have a very high quality PA system and our own stage & dance floor lighting.
Unlike most bands, we pride ourselves in being totally live. We do not use sequencers or backing tracks!
Our drummer plays an electronic drum kit, so we are never too loud!
We provide radio mics for speeches and play cd music of your choice during breaks!
All our equipment is tested regularly for Electrical Safety and we are fully insured for Public Liability

We are a 5 piece band based in the Devon area specialising in playing rock / rock n roll songs from the 50`s, 60`s, 70`s 80`s and even the 90`s. Unlike any normal function band, we were not brought together to make money from playing at weddings - we all randomly met at a local open mic night at Cook Island, Mullacott Cross. We started off just playing at this Mic night for fun and occasionally playing the odd free night here and there. From these nights we got such amazing and impressive feedback from the audience that it stunned us and made us rethink our future. Before we knew it we had people wanting our number so that they could book us for their party or wedding. We were completely amazed at how quickly things took off. We never dreamed that the band would go anywhere or even get gigs, because we we were all in the band purely for fun. We quickly found it necessary to place advertisements in local papers and clubs and "hey presto" found ourselves as a proper function band. We promise that you will have the most fun you have ever had...After 2 years, No one has ever been disappointed yet!!!

Junction 5 are a Devon based, five piece, band playing covers from the 1960`s to date.
Whilst a number of decades of music are covered, the band play recent numbers by artistes such as Beverly Knight, Greenday, Girls Aloud, Scissor Sisters, The Corrs, Robbie Williams, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Will Young, Kaiser Chiefs and many more.
The band is comprised of Dee on lead vocals; Emily on drums; Mark on keyboards / vocals; Chris on electric guitar / vocals and Pete on bass guitar / vocals.
To ensure that the band sounds first class no expense has been spared on the instruments, lighting and other equipment used.
We are happy to play cd's/mp3's during band breaks to keep the party going.
The mix and volume of the front of house sound is controlled by a sound engineer.
Modern technology has brought a revolution to music, Mini Disc backing tracks and sampling enable solo acts and duos to sound like the real thing, why compromise when you can have a genuinely LIVE BAND. |
