The Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre, was built in 1977 and aspires to be the cultural centre of Taunton. The Theatre can seat 352 people.
A Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall governance of the organisation, which is managed by the Director and a professional team of staff and volunteers. Almost all of our areas are level and easily accessible, we have conveniently located parking, ramped access and removable seats for wheelchair users.
Our varied live programme caters for all ages and includes a wide range of music, drama, children`s theatre, dance, opera, etc.

Creative Innovation Centre CIC
Creative Innovation Centre CIC (also known as CICCIC) is a arts, music, community and enterprise centre in the heart of Taunton town centre.
We provide events and workshops around all creative activity. Gigs include regular jazz nights, acoustic music nights, folk music nights and some great themed music nights. Our big memorial hall houses art exhibitions and we have a fully licensed bar.
Set over three floors and with a 500 people total capacity, Exchange is an exciting addition to Bristol`s thriving club / music scene.
Based in Old Market, Exchange is situated next to the Stag & Hounds / Evening Post Building, only a stones throw from Cabot Circus and Castle Park.
Both the ground floor (280 capacity) and the basement (110 capacity) are supplied with full High Pressure Soundsystem, and are both able to host both bands and DJs.
