Music Festival in Cotswolds, UK
Sober Rave Fest
Friday September 06 2019 to Sunday September 08 2019 | Start Time Approximately 12:00
Sober Rave Fest Awaken Festival Presents a Sober Rave Fest.

Our Sober Rave Fest is a small and intimate sober micro pop up boutique spiritually based festival. Specifically for conscious clubbers & sober ravers - a part of the festival ethos is based around the concept of ecstatic dance. Sober raving and ecstatic dance go hand in hand as they are both based around sobriety. Ecstatic dance is all about letting go of self-imposed restrictions in a safe environment. Not having to have any association with alcohol or drugs. and that includes being surrounded by those who do.

The festival incorporates music and dance that is all tied in with a spiritual ethos. Run over a week-end (3 days- Friday to Sunday) there are no other festivals around today (certainly not here in the UK anyway) that incorporates everything required to have a fantastic experience and all for the price of the ticket. Just turn up with your case or bag and you don't have to worry about anything else - apart from having a great time.

Music Festival in Whitby Pavilion, West Cliff, Whitby, North Yorkshire
Whitby Rocks
Friday October 11 2019 to Friday October 11 2019 | Start Time Approximately 18:30
Whitby Rocks Zal Cleminson is widely respected for his work with The Sensational Alex Harvey Band providing incendiary guitar and writing on seminal albums such as Next, Framed, The Impossible Dream, and others. Zal also played guitar in Nazareth for several years in the late 70s, early 80s, and worked as a session musician touring with Elkie Brooks, Bonnie Tyler, and Midge Ure

Way back in the halcyon days of rock, there came a trio of 'superheroes' known as the Groundhogs. Now Ken Pustelnik brings you a new and exciting line-up - Groundhogs, playing that classic material with verve and power, and giving performances of energy and excitement that are as fresh and relevant to the modern audience as the originals were back in the day.

Originally formed by four school friends back in 1966, by 1970 Stray had released their first album simply titled “Stray” and were a hugely popular act on the club scene in the UK and Europe. They are still one of the hardest gigging and excellent live acts on the circuit. With founder member Del Bromham on guitar and vocals, the band will play a selection of songs, which they have recorded over the years
