Born Again Concerts proudly presents:
An Evening With John Mitchell (of Lonely Robot)

“In moving forward with the rescheduled live shows, I shall be performing under my own name and in addition to a set of Lonely Robot music, I shall be playing from a selection of my back catalogue including the music of Kino, It Bites and The Urbane. In doing so, I hope to revisit some songs that haven’t been played in a very long time that otherwise would not have been heard in a live setting”

* This event was re-scheduled from December 2020 to February 2022. Original tickets remain valid *

Lonely Robot –

Lonely Robot is the brainchild of producer, songwriter and multi- instrumentalist John Mitchell (Frost, It Bites, Kino, Arena). Lonely robot was first conceived in 2014 as a vehicle for Mitchell’s passionate love of film soundtracks, big rock riffs and all things space and science fiction. Since that time, Lonely has released three critically acclaimed albums, 2015’s Please Come Home, 2017’s The Big Dream and 2019’s Under Stars which draws to a close what has now become know as the ‘Astronaut Trilogy’.

An evening with Lonely Robot 2020 brings the Lonely Robot live experience featuring long time Mitchell collaborator Craig Blundell on drums (Steve Wilson, Steve Hackett, Frost), Steve Vantsis on bass (Fish, Tilt) and Liam Holmes on keys and memorable quotes (Inglorious, Rock Of Ages) to select and prestigious venues around Europe. Attendees can expect the cream of the crop from the Astronaut Trilogy brought fiercely to life with stunning visuals and atmospherics all delivered with as much pomp and circumstance as our four intrepid heroes can muster. It truly will be out of this world. Make sure you are onboard for this interstellar musical and visual ride!
