The Pack Horse is the oldest existing Pub in South Brent. It has medieval origins and one of the beams in the pub is said to be from a medieval ship. The Pack Horse existed in the 14th century and could even be as early as the 13th century. It was the resting place for the Pack Horse trains that carried goods between farmers and miners and the trading taverns closer to the coast. Situated between Ivybridge and Buckfastleigh on the A38 it is the perfect base for your holiday break.
