Much-loved local singer, songwriter, guitarist and Squeeze front-man Glenn Tilbrook headlines An Evening For Ed, a standing fundraising concert for in aid of the Ed Renshaw Music Award. The show is Tilbrook’s only solo show of 2021 and will see him return to his roots in Deptford, where Squeeze originally formed in the 1970s.
Tilbrook will be joined by Kay-La Morgan, Gaby Carberry, Ife Ogunjobi and Johnny Hutchinson, all of whom are aspiring musicians with an array of musical specialisms spanning jazz, folk, electronic and classical.
All funds raised will go directly to the Ed Renshaw Music Award, a charity founded in memory of talented musician Ed Renshaw by his family and friends in 2012. Now in its tenth year, the charity helps young musicians in South East London to achieve their potential through mentoring and financial support.
