2025 is gonna be a hard one to beat. It’s the year Oasis came to town. Kneecap dominated the news, Lewis Capaldi made his long-awaited return, and Taylor Swift released her 12th, I’ll repeat that, 12th studio album. And at the tail-end of one hell of a year for our music community, we’re already starting to think 2026 might just be stiff competition. Here’s everything you need to know.

Isle of Wight Festival
18-21 June
Sky presents The Isle of Wight Festival 2026 has announced the first wave of acts, including headliners Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris, and The Cure. One of the first major UK festivals to release its key lineup, this one sure won't disappoint. Consistently offering something for everyone, this unique festival for music lovers of all ages also features Teddy Swims, Wet Leg, Tom Grennan, Feeder, Sex Pistols (Paul Cook, Glen Matlock, Steve Jones) featuring Frank Carter, The Last Dinner Party, Luvcat, and many more. A historic festival most loved for its ability to blend new talent with established artists through platforms such as its New Blood Competition for emerging artists wishing to perform on a major festival stage.

Global Superstar Lewis Capaldi will headline Friday 18th June, bringing his powerful voice and emotionally charged lyrical mastery to the crowds of Newport. He is well and truly back. Saturday 20th sees critically acclaimed DJ Calvin Harris take top spot with the chart-topping electronic, funk-influenced sound he’s famed for. And taking the weekend to a close, 80s icons The Cure continue a 45-year career streak after their return with new material in the form of their new album entitled ‘Songs of a Lost World’, released earlier this year. One not to miss.

Special guests The Vaccines, James Marriott, and The Royston Club join the lineup in celebration. On why the band chose London for their commemoration-
