After completing his BMus(Hons) in Professional Music Performance at The Academy of Contemporary Music Pete has been living in London gaining hands-on musical experience through live performances as well as several recording sessions in studios around London and Surrey including Metropolis, BigSmoke and Surrey University. Having been brought up in a musical environment, he is also a keen teacher and sharer, and enjoys giving tuition privately as well as in classes when not gigging. Matt Chivers

“Matt first started playing drums in 2003, has been on the live music scene since 2005, and teaching since 2010. He decided to step things up and start a career performing as a session drummer in 2017, and has since gone on to perform for bands at some very prestigious venues and events including BBC’s Biggest Weekend, BST Hyde Park and Country2Country festival at the O2 Arena. Back in 2015 he won the award for “Best Drummer” in the national competition “Meet 7 Jam’s Road to the 100 Club”.
Matt is a qualified drum tutor with a full DBS and is available for both online and face to face lessons. He has taught upwards of 200 students over his time as a teacher, with an impressive amount of high marks achieved in grade exams.
